GiftWrap Plus highly values the security and privacy of personal data. We
use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) 128-bit technology to protect donors' personal
information. This security protocol encrypts credit card numbers so they cannot
be copied. The secure environment is indicated in the browser by displaying a
lock or key on the browser status bar. The icon's presence indicates encryption
has been activated. Encryption is a part of all transactions through GiftWrap
Plus all of the time. Data Research Group has has partnered with Authorize.NET
to provide a safe environment for credit card transactions. Authorize.NET uses
the latest SSL encryption technology to securely pass transaction data through
their gateway.

GiftWrap Plus provides 3 levels of network security including SSL, Form
Authentication through .NET technology and SQL Server security. Our experience
with commercial vendors and their systems have taught us to stay on the leading
edge of corporate environmental security.

Both production and backup environments are built for reliability. The servers,
firewalls, network, and databases use a redundant configuration. The main database
and its transaction log are stored on a hardware mirrored RAID drive.

Customer data is stored on a primary database server with a redundant server
supporting. The customer data is backed up and archived twice a day in 5 separate
locations, both on-site and off-site. Disaster recovery plans are in place and
reviewed twice per year.

Can we get our data back out of GiftWrap Plus? There are many screens in GiftWrap Plus that provide you with the ability to export your information down to your local machine. Additionally, there are several different export formats, including Microsoft Excel, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Word and HTML. in fact, every single report that you will access in GWP utilizes a common export interface for your convenience.
